Recover iPhone Case Packaging

We successfully helped our client navigate through retail limitations of the Apple Store to craft an approach that served their needs of variable product labeling and product accessibility, in a design that amplified their natural wood brand story to disrupt the shelf.

To elevate the natural wood story, we chose an approach to messaging that would hero their real wood distinction. We designed the face of the package to be a window that allowed the consumer to see the entire product, with a cutout to allow them to feel the case.

My role was to research packaging examples, then to design the packaging to be flexible for other products (including iPad), to be environmentally friendly, and fit within the rules for packaging at Apple Stores worldwide.
